I am a recent college graduate who likes to stay very active. I am always looking for something new to try, and I can be very spontaneous about it. For example, this summer I watched a movie with someone hang gliding, 2 days later I was strapped into a hang glider on the side of a deceivingly large hill. I like going out and doing things, but at the end of the day, I like relaxing with movies or video games.
I went to school for electromechanical engineering, and for my senior design I built a fully functional firefighting robot. I guess that makes me a bit of a nerd. I am currently working at a company in the Boston area that mass produces foam products. I design and build the machines that do the production. Its a great job because I get to build everything I design in the shop, keeps me active.
I love traveling, seeing new places, I even spent a semester abroad in Ireland, I had the time of my life. I especially love going to tropical places, and can't understand how anyone would want to take cruises north, just doesn't make sense to me.
As for the "Very Shy" personality trait, it is not exactly true. My biggest problem with meeting people is that when I am around people I don't know, I get very shy, however when I am with friends, I am extremely extroverted, kinda like Jekyl and Hyde.
I have had rather bad luck with women in the past, usually involving them moving for various reasons. For a while my friends laughed about how bad my luck was, now it has lost its comical appeal and has resulted in me being convinced to try online dating. It's not to say that I am not a good boyfriend, I am still friendly with almost all of my exes, its just that I have not met anyone who is taking the same path as me yet.
I am looking for someone who likes to stay active, is up for trying new things, and will not start drama. I have no patience for drama. Also, I joke around a lot, I am looking for someone who can take jokes, and throw them right back.
