I am shy at first, strait forward, honest, with a somewhat off beat sense of humor. I enjoy interesting people. That being said, shallow and/or pretentious are not very interesting characteristics. A homebody at heart, I enjoy myself once out. I came to this site to chat.
I enjoy going to church, plays, old school music of all genres (R&B, gospel, salsa, rock, even some C&W), dancing, traveling (favorite foreign country is Italy), live performances (music and comedy), plays, bid whist, fishing and animals (dog lover). I also love biographies, horror, drama, suspense books or shows. My all time favorite plays are "Your Arms Too Short To Box With God", "The King and I", "The Sound Of Music" and my all time favorite is "Fiddler On The Roof". There is even one foreign film that I truly enjoyed (Cinema Paradiso). One of my favorite meals is little neck clams, over angel hair pasta, in a garlic sauce with grated parmesan cheese. I cook a mean pot of chitterlings too (lol). My favorite book is "The Alienist" by Caleb Carr. I also enjoyed my volunteer services with the Literacy Volunteers of Wake County.
I am an entrepreneur at heart. Had my own business for a while, could stand to improve on my marketing skills or hire out. My dream is to publish a book one day. If I had it to do over again, I would write for a newspaper or get into forensic science of some kind.
I grew up in the melting pot of cultures, New York and was in the military.
