Looking for a fun guy to chat with for possible long term relationship. I'm a simple girl who values real friendships. I have a few close friends, but most of them have kids (whom I love) but it means they don't have much time for lazy chatting, as I call it. You know, where you just chat about everything and nothing at the same time. I love to chat, but the one thing I won't talk about ON HERE is sex. Flirting is cool, but not straight-up sex talk. I'm not looking for a hook-up, so don't ask me. I won't respond again. I'm single (but was previously married). I want to find my soul mate, but I'm finding that dating is a lost art. I'm an old-fashioned dater. I want to be asked out several days in advance so I can look forward to it. I want to worry about what I'll wear and whether you'll kiss me, and at the end of the date I want you to leave me hoping you meant it when you said you'd call me. I want to become friends as we become lovers, not the other way around. I want to go to dinner or a movie instead of having one more date who wants to come over to my house and order pizza while he sits on my couch. I'm not high maintainance, I just want a little romance. I like a quiet night at home watching videos as much as anyone else, but not as a first date. I want to work up to that kind of familiarity; I don't want to start there. I believe you should work hard, play harder, give your all all the time, take risks, believe in true love, practice romance, treasure true friendships, laugh when you can, apologize when you should, kiss slowly, forgive quickly, never go to bed angry, engage in make-up sex, never take anyone or anything for granted, accept what you can't change, and never hold on to regret. I love to laugh, I love to have fun. I love to play pool, but I'm TERRIBLE! I love live music of almost any kind. I love concerts, especially in small venues. Senses Fail is my favorite band so if you know anything about them that's a bonus! I love restaurants that have live music on the patio. I love sushi and even if you don't think you do, I have some tricks to remedy that! I love places where I can take my dog: the beach, a patio restaurant, even PetSmart! I love a guy who loves dogs and has a car/truck big enough to transport them. I have one of the biggest cats you've ever seen, but don't make fun of him, it hurts his feelings (lol!). He was sick and had to take steroids to get better so it's not his fault! Or mine, more to the point! But he's active and sweet and a total keeper!! I'm fascinated by the vastness of space and how much we don't know about it. I love art history, as well as architecture, archaeology, and regular history (there has to be a better term for it than that, but I can't think of it right now!). I also love to travel and have done so extensively, especially in Western Europe (with some pyramids and some beaches thrown in just to mix things up). I work in Austin and I'm also finishing my Marketing/Accounting degree.
