I’m a 5’ 09”, 175lb, physically fit, Native American. My real name is Yiska which means “Night Has Passed”. I am Tsitsistas which means “The People”, but you know me as Cheyanne. I get my blood from the Hotamitaneo.
I love the outdoors. I love to take my Jeep off road every chance I get. I’m really good at taking things apart. There’s not much I can’t fix with silicone, Duck tape, or a bungee cord. I love to shop and go to the movies. I like action films and comedies. I can even handle the occasional chick flick as long as there is some action. Just information, if it can’t be found at Home Depot or Wal-Mart, I probably don’t really need it.
My favorite meal is crispy fish sticks and mac and cheese. I’m not the best cook but I’ve been known to whip up a mean can of Ravioli. Just kidding, I love to cook.
Big things don’t bother me but little things really tic me off. Some of my biggest pet peeves are people that drive slow in the fast lane. Fast food that’s not fast. Buying something today and it goes on sale tomorrow. Paying $2.95 for a gallon of gas. People that quote bumper stickers and sound bites. Anything liberal, and sleeping in the wet spot. There is something about liberals and wet spots that go hand in hand.
I live my life one day at a time. I’m never in a hurry but I do believe in being punctual. I’m also a firm believer in what goes around comes around, so I treat every body how I want to be treated.
My 24 year relationship with my high school sweetheart has recently come to a close. I am not sad, angry, bitter or depressed. I also do not need a shoulder to cry on, that is over. I am a father of two children and I am very proud of them. I have a 19 year old son who is quite possibly my best friend and a 10 year old daughter who is crazy about her daddy. I spend most of my free time with them and since I only work 3 to 4 days a week, I have plenty. What I don’t have is somebody to share my “me-time” with. I am not a teenager anymore; I am looking for friends first. Those relationships seem to last longer than those who are all into someone they recently met. I am not a confrontational person and I am not competitive, and I am no slouch. I am a very meek individual, when you have confidence you can be.
I’d like to meet somebody that’s not like me. A person with two left hands can't juggle. Two left feet can't dance. By being different, one compliments the other and opens up new and exciting opportunities to explore with someone else. I don’t care much for hairy legs but if you’re not afraid to get your feet dirty that’s a bonus. If you’re a liberal minded person don’t feel like you can’t apply. I don’t argue religion or politics, but I have had many a good conversation. Conversation with like minded individuals is like talking to yourself, and I already know what I think and what I going to answer myself.
