Was married for quite a while and suddenly single again. I'm not looking for a new husband or even a future husband. Just looking for a friend so to speak. If the man above chooses to make it something more then that would be a bonus but its not the main objective here LOL. I love to be outdoors in the summer - not so much during winter but hey I still do go outside then too. My children and grandchildren are the most important thing in my life. I love to try and take them camping at least once a year (tents & all). I like to go fishin and haven't been as much as I'd like lately but hopefully that will get back into line once spring kicks in again. I have a house full of pets of all shapes and sizes LOL. I'm a very independent person. I do like having my own space but I don't mind sharing either. I've been told by some that I sometimes intimidate members of the opposite sex because I am so independent but I never could understand the princesses of the world anyway LOL. I believe that any relationship whether it be friendship or something romantic should be a partnership with the understanding that sometimes its like buying a used car...as is no warranty. That means that if you truly care about someone you take them warts and all :o) I don't believe that a person should be judged based solely on their physical appearance or the color of their skin. A person's true self can be found only in their eyes and their heart. As human beings we're all going to screw up sometimes and well you just have to work it out and move on. No sense in holding grudges in this world cause our time here is short. I love to listen to all kinds of music (depending on my mood) and just like everybody else think certain songs were written just for me LOL. I think that a person's family should be the most important thing to them and that family includes more than just the nuclear version. That being said, here's a list of things I am not looking for....
1) A dad - already have those thanks
2) Someone to take care of me - I can do that quite well on my own
3) Sexual encounters or propositions of such - I'll be nice and not say anything on that statement
4) Another child to raise (as in an immature male looking for a mom)
