Taking a DH break and... Trying one out to see where it goes. Maybe it is just two enjoying a bit of life away from the computer, maybe it is more.  Life is short and it is a gamble. Sometimes we just have to try to see how far we can fly. A very unexpected fork in the road.. Sometimes life is that way.
I look for an ice cream and brownies relationship. Each is great alone, but when they are put together they become something amazing.
I don't want to be his everything. I just want to be his enough. Enough that he needs to look no further.
My perfect mate is kind, caring and compassionate, intelligent and finds me to be that, too. Has sense of Spirit, doesn’t have to be on my page, but at least on the same shelf in the library. Is aware of what he puts into his mouth, but is not obsessive about it. Loves children, animals, water and music. Can communicate. Able to tell me what he thinks and able to ask me what it is I am thinking or feeling with out assuming that he already knows. Understands that I am not always predictable in thought or feeling. He is willing to show me that my heart is safe in his care and he truly gets it that trust is something that is earned. It is not a given, but it does grow.
Is clean in personal appearance and home, but understands that homes are meant to be lived in. Ability to share life and dreams of future and does not have a history that would make such dreams impossible. Able to try new things. Likes touch, giving and receiving. Laughs freely and often. Has friends and is open to more, but at the same time leaves me with no doubt that I am the one he considers to be important in his life. I am the one he wants to be with in the morning and at the end of the day. Family is important and he treats his mom well (or did), but is able to be himself when around her.
