Easy going artsy fartsy guy, loves animals from birds to burros, cats to cattle - actually - spiritually speaking, of course - realizes 120 million hindi probably aren't far wrong, we are just animals with technology (some more or less than others) and credit cards. Enjoy reading, music, flicks, cooking, the outdoors (recently trading in the Northwestern outdoors for drier climes), dancing, arts, hiking, sports. I consider myself very spiritual but not religious, have trained in Reiki, Meditative arts and healing. To paraphrase Lennon, "God is a concept by which we measure a decent Hoagie". Humor is important, and I enjoy playing the benevolent cynic, that kindness and a smile go a long way, but a bus ticket will still get you across town faster. I play several instruments well, a couple sorta well and at least one I only practice in the desert. I sing, am an acceptionally bad skier - probably where the singing voice comes from - and almost a worse golfer. This isn't to say I don't do these things, just requiring that current medical premiums are active if involved in these sports with me on the same hill, course, planet.
Looking for basically drama free partner (hey, we all have our moments, just remember that actually setting fire to the furniture may not sit well in the morning), using the singles sites cuz I don't hang out in bars and Safeway actually eventually makes me buy stuff.

Addendum (or, as blissfully pooped as I am today) Addumdum
A couple of recent developments are altering my involvement here on DH. Most importantly, I have met someone through this site that I sincerely seek to progress with relationship wise. Whether or not that is what will happen only the cosmic muffin may know for sure, however, in order to give that chance at a relationship it's fairest shake AND in leau of the fact that I'm a passionately monogamous guy I'm going to give 100% to this chance. The name of the game has always been to utilize DH as a means to an end and that if, muffin willing, I have found the one then my goal is reached, my peak scaled and my Safeway shopping cart filled. Certainly, I can only speak for myself, and in doing so I will say that this special someone has provided a connection to affection, an election beyond rejection that has reduced me to mushy prose and utterly moronic grinning. That means a lot in my comic book of life.
So, to all, I wish you love and satisfaction, discovery and bliss. May the muffin of love always be buttered right side up on your plates. Stay open and loving always in all ways.
