I am a man who has been out of action for a long time. It has been a long time since I have been in a relationship, or been on a date. I know one thing for sure; i am ready to find someone special. I am tired of being alone. I want something real. I want friendship. I want love. I want someone to enjoy life with. I want someone who can show me how to have fun again. I am a easygoing,laidback person; but i also like to get out and experience new things.I like to learn new things.Lately, i have had an interest in learning Spanish.I would like to be able to communicate better with spanish speaking people at work.And since i love the food and the music, it makes sense to me to try to learn something new.It would be really nice to be able to understand what is being said in the spanish music.Right now i just kinda hum along!!. I am a man who has no time for judgmental people.I get along with everyone.All races.And having said that, i guess it is obvious that i would be completely comfortable in a mixed race relationship. I just thought i should put that info out there. I am in a transitional stage in my life right now. I got burnt out in my old career of being a cross country truck driver. Got tired of being alone all the time. Tired of going places, but getting nowhere in life. The career had become my life; and i was finding no joy in it anymore. I knew it was time for me to settle down. I changed careers as well. I find jeans and t-shirts to be very comfortable!. But i also like to dress up like James Bond as often as possible too !!!. I seek a woman who can bring the best out of me. By the way, i like dogs. But i prefer cats. I like nice restaurants and i like fast food joints. I can be flexible. I don't need to be Right all the time. I believe a woman has a right to choose her lives direction.I accept people for who they are; not who i'd like them to be. I am receptive to new things and new ideas. Sometimes i feel that the world has gone crazy; and lost the ability to care.If you are a person who has some of these things in common with me, then i'd love to meet you. Send me a message. Ok, i just realized something: the thing on the profile where it says "want kids", i put yes. I guess that makes it look like i want to find a person to have kids with. That is not quite the case. Let me explain further. I am 35 years old. I have never been married and have never had kids of my own. So having said that; i do like kids, and if i meet someone who already has children then great!. The important thing though, is that the kids would have to accept me also. I understand that even though a woman may have found a man that she cares for, and would like to spend more time with; the kids also have an interest in the situation. They have to accept the new man in moms life too; and sometimes that can be difficult for kids to do. If mom,the new man,and the kids all see eye to eye on things, then there is always a possibility for a strong family bond to develop between all 3. I guess that sounds like a book, huh ??. Well, when you've been alone as long as i have, you have plenty of time to read and such. And even more time to look inside yourself, and decide exactly what it is that you want in life. I looked inside. I know what i want and need now. I am ready to find a strong love, and love that woman till the day i die. Or at least that is what i hope for!!. Never hurts to hope, right ?? !!.
