All kidding aside, I am a really good man. I work in healthcare but am thinking about going into teaching. I try to live a life that reflects the Source of my values. I don't do it perfectly, but I am trying. I not only try to avoid doing bad, but try to have a life of doing good. The most powerful example of this I can think of is the one-week camp that I co-direct with my old roommate. We raise the money during the year then go into a couple different areas in the metroplex and find kids that can't afford to go to camp. This camp is so powerful and so spiritual. It is about as moving and instructional for the staff as it is for the campers. It has given hope and life to many kids that were losing them. I get chills just talking about it.
I also love camping, fishing (Flyfishing esp, I don't hunt), photography, and Cowboys football. I don't follow much else in sports so you don't have to worry about me living the weekend in front of the TV. I like to mix it up and see an opera or musical. I hate missing Shakespeare in the Park. I would like to find someone that I enjoy doing these things with. I could find someone to go but I want someone that I enjoy. I want to look over sometimes and see it through her eyes. It is so much more enjoyable that way.
So here's what I am looking for... I want to find someone that is still full of life... tries to makes the best out of any situation... is very patient and forgiving but is not a lifelong doormat... honors the few things that I have been called to... loves to share things but isn't a needy person... is not impressed with the Joneses'... is very secure in her life, her calling, and her relationships. She needs to love God more than any man and believes that He still does things powerfully today.
Well, that ought to chase off most anyone on this site. If that wasn't enough, I guess I should say that I am almost never attracted to women of size. Slender and athletic profiles are probably the only ones I can think about in a romantic setting. I know this is shallow. I know I am missing out on some very precious, loving, and Godly people. I hope I hurt no one's feelings with this. It is one of my flaws, not yours. Please don't write just rant about this. It is the way I am now. If it changes, I will change my profile. Please try to be understanding.
Not the most exciting ending to a profile, huh? I hope it comes through that I love to have fun and enjoy things and people. I kid quite a bit, but I have a great balance. I love being touched and moved. If you do too, gimmee' a holler'!
