About me:
I enjoy football, fishing, pool, and playing cards. I enjoy going out to a movie or concert. I like to go out to dinner or to a comedy club. I love camping and going to the beach. I love watching the Vols, while grilling out with family or friends. I like doing just about anything fun with the right person. I went to church regularly growing up, and I have went a few times recently, trying to find the right church and to get my son acclimated to it. It would be nice to have someone to share that part of my life with. I am someone who could be reading the phone book with someone else, and if it is the right someone, I would be perfectly happy reading it all day. I love snuggling at home by the fire, or under the covers. Cuddled up with a glass of wine watching a good movie with someone special is also very nice. As far as music I listen to Dance Music, Country, Rock, Pop, and R & B. I like to think I am intelligent and have a very good sense of humor once you get to know me. I even like to go dancing, love to shoot pool, and maybe some karaoke after a couple of beers. (lol) Although, I really don't go to the bars much anymore. I am really up to trying something new with the right person. Maybe I can even develop some new hobbies.
I consider myself to be romantic. I just need to find the right woman that appreciates being romanced. I look forward to that special first kiss again. My friends tell me that I look and act young for my age. I will take that as a compliment because I don't feel my age either. I try not to take things too serious, and I like to cut up and joke most of the time, but I know when to be serious. I also respect a woman as equal, and I believe a couple should always work together in a relationship. That is the way it should be 50/50.
As far as kids, I always pictured myself having more than one, but with the right person I would love to have more. I also would be fine if I meet someone who already has kids and does not want anymore.
Also, for the sake of being honest; I thought my divorce would be final by now, but I am still trying to get that piece of paper. Hopefully it won't be much longer now. I am not one of those guys who think separation is the solution to cheating. I do not cheat on the one I love. Although I have been divorced in heart since my ex cheated and left in July of 2008. My son is 5 now.
Hopefully the ones who read my profile will understand that I am a good person and respect me because I chose to keep my son, and be a single Dad. I love my son, and I would do anything for him.
The guys I work with said the reason I did not get many responses was because of saying I am separated on my profile, so they talked me into changing it to divorced, so I at least get a chance to explain. Trust me; I can't get the divorced finalized fast enough. I just wanted to be able to tell my side of the story. If I was a dishonest person I would not even say anything.
I am looking for love with my new best friend. Yes! It helps be best friends first, but sometimes when the right one comes along you can just tell. I believe you need to continue romancing your partner even more so after you have been together for a while, or you will start to take each other for granted, and that is what let's relationships die many times.
