It has been almost 3 years since my divorce. I was married for 20 years and have raised two wonderful boys. As my life has evolved since then,
I see life through different eyes. Divorce is a traumatic thing not only for yourself or your partner but to our children, families and friends. The hardest part for me was the first year of living alone. I was used to seeing and hearing the kids running around, the dog barking, having lots of kids hanging out which I loved. It was a very lonely time for me and it took a long time to work through the process of healing my heart and soul. Many of us in this similar situation ask ourselves WHY did this happen? and WHAT could I have done. When you fall in love you don't ponder on the thought that you will be divorced.
I have embraced change and renewed my passion that has always been with me. I try to use the God given talents I have been blessed with to help others with compassion and patience, and to make a difference in peoples lives. Each day I strive to be the best man and father I can be. I have learned from my past mistakes and attribute my success to caring about making a change rather than blaming everyone but myself. We did not learn in school how to be parents or even how to be a good spouse or partner. We live life and try to make decisions with our natural instincts. Sometimes it doesn’t workout the way we want, but in my opinion life is not fair and it is not a game we win at. It is however a beautiful gift we have been given to make it whatever you want.
I try to live my life with vigor and passion as the heavens have no limit. So why am I using this site? Ask your self why are you? Most likely we are busy and stressed from long hours at work, or raising children, or You don't want to go to the bars or go on blind dates. We all have our own personal reasons, but the one thing we have in common is that we are living breathing human beings who desire the need to be loved and cared about.
I am very happy with myself and I love to set the world on fire but just not alone.
I am old fashioned in some ways as I only want to be with one women. Never once did I cheat on my ex wife Sex is great but making love to that special person is why I think recording artists write love songs because of how tender and beautiful it can be. I have not become cold hearted from my experiences but just the opposite. I might never fall in love again or I might be surprised by it when I least expect it. That is why I see life through different eyes and I hope for you to experience love again as well. There is one quote I enjoy and that is "LOVE IS SHORT, FORGETTING IS LONG"
I am a true romantic and love great restaurants,cooking with or for my date, sipping red wine, great conversation, anything outdoors, travel, riding my motorcycle, Love anything with or by water,(lakes pools, oceans etc..),taking long walks,cuddling,soft kisses that drive me crazy, sitting by the fireplace on a cold winter night watching a good movie or reading a book, live theater,music and love dancing! snow skiing, sporting events,

Baseball is one of my true passions as I played, taught and coached professionally. I am unselfish and compassionate to people in need. I raise money for the Kid's Cancer Fund of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota each year with my Play Ball for a Cure wood bat little league All-star tournament. I have good morals and ethics and pride myself on being a good role model for our youth. I don't use drugs or hang with anyone who does. I work hard everyday and live my life with passion! I have learned that a lasting love relationship is built upon using these building blocks. Trust, emotional support, patience,compassion, romance & passion as well as mutual respect for eachother. Who am I looking to date?
