Personality |
An extremely personable and kind but lonely soul. I empathize with people's traumas, challenges and personal problems. I've seen a lot and lived through a lot. I don't think I am ready for another "true love" with all the risk it entails, yet crave giving and receiving physical affection. Sex, likely not but cuddling and lots and lots and lots of hugs and smooches... That's what this VaFella seeks, indeed needs, on a fundamental level (anyone familiar with Abraham Maslow's famed work, "Heiarchy of Human Needs" will understand this well).
I am well-educated yet not "degreed" person whose interests include writing, walking for exercise, and the occasional revisit to older Stephen King works (my favorite of his is The Shining; close behind are other eighties-era hits like Thinner). I would have to also list as an interest my very job itself, which involves lots of customer assistance and interaction in person and "on the floor."
So then, I love interacting with people publicly, yet am less sure of myself privately. This could be described as "shy," but I'm thinking it is more rooted in the fear that a good thing just won't last.
