I am intelligent, creative, nurturing, and caring. My friends tell me that I am loyal and compassionate, sometimes to a fault. I'm a Cancer so I love cooking for people I care about and providing a comfortable and beautiful atmosphere in my home. I am student in African-American Studies and Religion; I love studying the history and rich culture of people of African descent and I am fascinated by religion and how it manifests in different cultures and subcultures. I do not belong to a religion, but I do practice spirituality. I am a vegan and I am planning on getting licensed to be a holistic health practitioner. In my spare time, I write poetry and short stories, do photography, try new recipes, and spend time with good people. I love animals (I have two cats). I love hip-hop music, r&b, reggae, and some rock music. I LOVE all kinds of food, especially Indian and Jamaican.
I am looking for someone who is honest, intelligent and creative and who allows me to be myself. I am also looking for someone who is attentive and caring; someone who will reciprocate the attention that I give. It would be great to meet a man who is a vegan or a vegetarian, but someone who is at least health-conscious would be fine. No smoking at all and a social drinker. I would like to meet someone who likes going out but necessarily to parties all the time. I love parties but I also like museums, art shows, book readings, and concerts.
