Hi there.
How's it going? I am an honest guy looking to meet a nice girl to become friends with and hopefully more. I don't really know what I'm looking for in a woman as I like many different traits. I guess I am looking for someone who appreciates honesty and enjoys a good laugh.
Some things about me: I am usually very upbeat and like to laugh a lot, I can be a bit sarcastic at times (maybe you saw my previous write-up), but I can be serious when the occasion calls for it. I like to help other people when I can, I volunteer for Big Brother/Big Sisters and have done so for a little over a year and a half now.
I like to workout, but doubt I will ever look like an Olympian God as I do like to eat a good burger or steak now and again. I currently weigh around 195, but I'm trying to drop some of that because Olympian God or not, I still care about myself and want to look and feel the best I can while still enjoying life. For cardio, I like to ride my bike through the Metroparks in the summer, I like the scenery and the quiet. It'd be nice to have someone to ride with.
I don't watch a lot of television shows, but I do watch a lot of movies as home theater is one of my hobbies. When I do catch a tv show, it's usually on a DVD set where I can watch a few episodes at a time. As for movies, I like most genres and if you asked me for my favorite film I couldn't name just one. Some of my recent favorites: The Hangover, Role Models, District 9, Star Trek, Serenity, I Love You Man, Just Like Heaven, An Affair to Remember (not the remake). My favorite sports movie is "Miracle", what a great film.
You may have noticed that I don't drink, I don't have a past problem or anything, I just wasn't surrounded by alcohol growing up so I never picked up the habit. I'm not against people drinking to have a good time, unless they get behind a wheel, of course.
I'm a very honest person, lying is such a waste of time and there really is no need for it in the first place. So in the spirit of honesty, I'll just let you know right now that I have a female roommate. She's a friend of mine that right now cannot financially live on her own so I'm helping her out. It's an obstacle that I know some of you don't want to deal with which is why it's taken so long for me to fill out my profile. But I figured, I can't just stop my life entirely and here I am filling it out finally.
