Hello,
Thanx for stopping by. Here's another fine adventure one of my partners in crime suggested I try. So, here goes it, for what it's worth. . . 
I'm looking to meet others who share my passion for fitness, good health, fun, honesty & integrity, spontaneity, the simple pleasures of Life and lots of laughs and good times. Dating, friendship or new "partner in crime" (who couldn't use a new one to help bend the rules just a tad bit . . .  . . . . ?). Life has taught me to live each moment to it's fullest, as tomorrow is promised to no one. . . .
I live by the "Golden Rule". I treat people the way I want to be treated . . . and then . . . I treat them the way they treat me. Simple, effective and works for me . . . 
My personality would best be described as: high energy (NOT to be confused with high maintenance .  .), independent, honest, easy going, benevolent, compassionate, down to earth, unassuming, cautiously optimistic, feisty, fun loving, free spirited, adventurous, exuberant, gregarious, vivacious, "no nonsense", "don't waste my time or blow smoke up my _ss", "let's go have fun" attitude. "ABRUPT", you say/think? I choose to call it honesty . . . a concept (unfortunately and so sadly true) . . . foreign, to some. Guess you can't be everybody's "cup of tea" . . . , oh well . . . . . next . . . . 
My hobbies include hiking (have "bagged" a few 14er's), biking (have 2 Ride the Rockies and 12 Courage Classic bike tours under my "proverbial Pearl belt"). Finished CC #12 (150 miles in 3 days) in July '09 in Summit County with 2,000 other riders, all riding for the kids @ Children's Hospital. Great support, entertainment, wonderful lodging, new friendships and lots of smiles  were had by all. Vail pass @ 10,666' is always the butt kicker  , but Fremont pass @ 11,318' is the highest pass we climb. What a lung buster, but great fun and an awesome time! 
Is this a great state to live and hike-n-bike in or what? Also enjoy snow shoeing & other outdoor activities, beaches, archery & target shooting and exploring new, fun and exciting places/adventures.
Fitness, good health, a great (& slightly twisted) sense of humor and again, honesty & integrity are high priorities for me. Prefer someone who shares and engages in those same qualities/activities. Always enjoy a friendly & witty banter with the an equally deviant "perspective"  .
My passion/commitment to the kids @Childrens' Hospital & the annual Courage Classic rides that benefit them remain near & dear to my heart. Thanx to my loyal supporters, we have now raised $13K for them. If you have kids and they are healthy, hug them and count your blessings!
And speaking of kids. . . last, but certainly, NOT least, the MOST important, most luved, "can't live without", #1 person in my Life - my son! ! !  How truly blessed I am! And extremely proud of his very recent college graduation and bright future. . .
If interested, a "meet & greet" works for me; comfortable with open & casual atmosphere conducive to talking, laughing, and honest dialogue. No pressure or expectations , of course, as I'm assuming we're all adults here. Coffee, tea, frappuccino, cappuccino, appetizers, maybe a hike . . . to see if there's a connection or any chemistry. . .
I know some great trails close by . . .

P.S. Anybody out there hear of and believe in "The Secret"? It's basically the "law of attraction", you get what you put out there. My interpretation of Karma - "what goes around comes around" or in biblical terms; "you reap what you sow". For all those blessed with good looks and/or money, may you always have them . Cuz for some, when they're gone, all they are left with are themselves (or "bad ole selves"  ), their "notches" and their memories (may they continue to find comfort in those superficial and some/often times, fleeting, things).
