I am an intelligent, astute, educated Native American male. I am employed as a civil servant and am a business owner. I am a published author, and planning on my first book. I enjoy many things in life/ For example:
Thunderstorms, dogs (large to giant breeds), cats, gardening, cooking, history, researching the sciences, researching religion, garage/estate sales, woodworking, handyman repairs, firearms, living in the country on a farm (which I don't right now), movies, reading, and my job and my personal business. I live near Tulsa. I'm a workaholic and do not get the opportunities I should to have an exciting love life. I am constantly on the go, and have to balance that with taking care of my 3 year old daughter (the miracle of all miracles) who is a number 1 priority. Her mother and I are very much involved in her life and are friends (have a problem with that? Then MOVE ON). I am a coffeeholic, and enjoy different varieties (not that fake flavored crap). I smoke as well, so don't expect to CHANGE me. I am strongly opinionated, very assertive, and have a take charge attitude. I am also strongly opinionated in regards to child rearing, politics, religion, and my Native American heritage. However, I respect others and will not interfere with their lives. The only time I intervene with friends or family is when falsehoods are stated, abusive remarks or actions have been taken, or are threatening in any way towards me, my family, or any friends I may have. I also, for the record, take absolutely NO CRAP from kids (and that word includes teenagers). Pop me an attitude, and you'll know you just tied one on with someone that doesn't take that kind of shit (brutal word-but applicable). I know that I sound very much unromantic, but that's not true. I do like to surprise my woman when she' s least expecting it. I take care of my family and friends. I will give the shirt off my back, to someone that needs it more than me.I just hate it when being there with someone, caring and taking care of them, becomes a CHORE, or it is DEMANDED of me. I'm no butler, valet, or pocket gigalo. Let me repeat that: I'm NOT A BUTLER, VALET, COOK, POCKET GIGALO, NURSEMAID, ENABLER. I do not respond favorably to DEMANDS,ULTIMATUMS,DISRESPECT, ATTITUDE,RUDENESS, OR THREATS. If you're the type that just expects your man to do your bidding- or your kids', then... YOU ARE BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE. Get yourself a wetnurse for that. I fully expect most of you reading this at this point, to be offended and think that I'm a jerk. That's ok. If you are offended, then that's good- I wouldn't want to waste MY time.
I like sex, who doesn't? So I'm going to be upfront about that since I don't beat around the bush. And in that, if you're Miss Prim-and-Proper, why are you still reading this profile? I'm very open minded about it, just not into pain or abuse (BDSM queens- LEAVE NOW).
I have never used drugs, nor will I. I'm not an alcoholic. And I've never had an STD. I had cancer once and beat it. Other than that, healthy as a 40 year old battleship could be. So, that brings me into another realm altogether- If you need drugs to maintain your mental well being on an everyday basis- NO THANKS. I did my time with an ex-wife (notice she's an EX? I'M the one that filed the papers, not her! ) that did that. No thank you. I have nothing against those that do, I just don't want any part of it. I'm no armchair quarterback, or nascar driver. I have little interest in sports, drinking beer, playing "keeping up with the joneses", or seeing how much more testosterone I have than the other guy. I believe the mind is to be exercised, not vocal cords.I am a constant student of life and the whole world is the classroom. So, all that being said- and if you're still reading this, drop me a line.
