I don’t actually know what I am looking for. I think I’m jaded or broken from previous relationships, but I don’t choose to give up. I am more of a what ever happens happens type of person, however I’d like to go on a date and talk to the person afterwards. Most people I go out with don’t deserve a phone call afterwards, never mind a second date. Perhaps I’m looking in the wrong places or maybe I’m looking for the wrong thing. I don’t know. I once said that I was looking for a nice guy. Now I’m just looking for something refreshingly different.
I think meeting people online is neat so long as both parties are completely honest with each other. I mean if you have no intentions of meeting me, at least get on to some better lies, but if you really want to get together, why lie? I’m either going to find out upon seeing you or find out through conversation. And that’s the other thing, conversation. If you can’t hold one, don’t waste your time please. If the basis of our conversation online is whether or not I have nude pics, find yourself a different chick to converse with.
I write a lot. It consumes most of my time, and I like it that way. I write mostly poetry. I do a lot of readings at open mic nights. Usually at Borders, sometimes at a coffee shop or two.
I want to know what love feels like. The kind that is so strong that it hurts even after you’ve died. Don’t let that scare you away though, I’m just a hopeless romantic, that’s all. With that said, I do not believe in “the one" or soulmates or any of that.
