I am looking for an attractive, witty dinner/theatre companion IN Houston! Certainly not out of state!. A woman with a (Functioning) Brain. Someone with whom I could have meaningful inter course. (If you weren't aware that there were other connotations to that word, you're probably not her!) I find that the mind is the most ero tic part of any woman. I'd like a woman to be complete without me; To want to share herself with me; To walk beside me, not beneath or upon me. My mother raised her sons to be self-sufficient; She taught us good manners, how to cook, bake, sew, clean and, most importantly, how to dance and treat a lady. (I actually took ballet! Now there's a character-building experience for a ten year old boy!) She always said that she wanted us to find someone we WANTED to be with, rather than someone we HAD to be with; To feed us, clothe us, clean up after us, etc. I'm not John Travolta, but I have cleared many a dance floor, and my chocolate chip cookies are legendary!
I have found that a dreamer works with his mind; A craftsman with his hands; A lover with his heart; An artist uses all three. I fancy myself quite the artist!
I love live theatre and the symphony, have season tickets for The Alley, Jones Hall and the Ballet. I also enjoy playing bridge, and would love to find someone with whom I could play, even if there is no romantic interest. But then, I've found that good, solid, common interests breed deeper relationships than all that flash in the pan romance stuff anyway! That said, however, could there be anything more perfect than to have the right person in your arms, the right music playing.....dancing, or just sensing each other's life force with each soft breath. What else could possibly matter? True romance, after all, is NOT 'flash-in-the-pan', is it? It's every day being able to say: "I REALLY like you!"
I have one guiding light in my life that has ALWAYS illuminated my path, "DEO PROVENDI." He always has. (I am not a religion 'fre ak', by the way; Just someone who recognizes and appreciates where it all comes from!) Of all of life's regrettable experiences, when all is said and done, the experience most often regretted is the chance not taken. Please don't let our friendship be one of those, take a chance. Unless you just scrolled down here without reading, you ARE interested, take a chance, write! What's the worst that could happen? You could meet one more axe-murderer? I just MIGHT be as nice a guy as you suspect, you know.
