I know who I am and what I want and I am not willing/wanting to compromise any of that for expectations outside of my own.
I am true to myself first and foremost and in turn I am true to others.
I am an adult and have not just acquired that status with age, but with experience, and lessons well learned to boot.
I am consistent in that I hold myself accountable for my decisions and actions, finding my part in all my contributions and what results from them. I am the first to admit when I am wrong (when shown absolute proof...lol) and the last to accept it...lol. If I don't know something I will express my uncertainty yet still take the stance that is relevant to me...lol.
I live with no regret as it has made me the person I am today. I answer to God and myself only and make no apologies for that. I believe that all relationships are forged by common or compatible character and therefore compromising your own character/morals/values/sense of self for the sake of social acceptance is defeating the purpose of relationship.
Defies the whole concept.
I don't blame anyone fot the consequences I have suffered in my life because I know that ultimately EVERYTHING that happens to ME always comes down to a decision I made somewhere in the process leading to the outcome. Accepting and now embracing that fact that no matter how small or seemingly insignificant I may have thought the part may have been I (Josie) am and have always been in control of my own actions, feelings, and choices which is actually quite invigorating once you have that revelation.
I don't need to be taken care of financially as I am stable in that area and am very happy being a full-time mom/dad. I have been blessed with the means to do so.
I am not wasting a second "partying" or trying to desperately hold on to the self-destructive behavior that is... the adolescent stage. I believe firmly that my job and greatest importance in life is raising a God fearing, well-educated child that will one day be an extremely productive part of society and will inspire those who aren't fortunate enough to know their value and importance in the scheme of life.
The knowledge I relentlessly strive to instill in her by my own actions I believe will take her far all the while still holding onto humility and humbleness as the cornerstone of her character.
I am on this site because I was personally asked by the founder and found it flattering but also because I would like to believe that being an established man you would possess quite a lot of the characteristics I have previously mentioned.
I am NOT looking to be swept away to paradise or be "put up" by a man on here.
I ultimately just want to converse with a man that isn't wanting/needing to be fixed or enabled to soak in there pity pool expecting the world to be accountable for their circumstances and feelings of insufficiency. Is that too harsh???? lol
I have absolutely no tolerance or time for drama, lies, or bs of any kind.
Realism is what makes the world personable and an over-all better place....sadly it seems it is heavily lacking in that area.
