I've frequently been described as highly intelligent and compassionate. The word that most of my friends and family use to describe me is decent. Kind is another. Ditto 'creative and imaginative. I'm definitely a dreamer. I'm also pragmatic. I believe everything can turn out okay, but there's work to be done in order to get there.
Who I'm looking for is someone who can keep me on my toes intellectually and isn't so wrapped up in the minutiea (I hope I spelled that correctly) of day to day life that they lack imagination. I have an almost childlike sense of wonder towards life of which I am very proud. I am also intensely perceptive as to the feelings of the people around me as well as the mood and atmosphere of my immediate environment. It would be nice to find that quality in someone else.
On the career front, I'm very motivated. I was at one time a local journalist and when I decided that was no longer a venue I wished to pursue, I decided to attend film school, which I've recently completed. I have finished filming my first short indie film and currently I'm working on my second script (this is where the aforementioned sense of childlike wonder and imagination comes in handy). Security is simply a means to keep a roof over my head and the bills paid. The way I see it, I'm never unemployed.
Interests: I enjoy reading, writing, film (naturally), stimulating conversation, music (from ABBA to ZZ Top) and sometimes just goofing around on a sunny afternoon with good company. I work out 3-5 times a week, but I'm not a fitness freak. I'm just trying to stay reasonably healthy. (Quitting smoking is next on soon-to-do the list).
If I seem shy at first don't worry- I will warm up and once I know that I am amongst friends, I'll probably have you laughing out loud (for the right reasons) before the day is done.
