Here is where I am at: I am college educated. Am not perfect--my mouth has a tendancy to run away at times, but I try not to let it write checks that my body can't cash. I may have been born and raised in the city, but did live on a working farm for 14 years; I know which end to milk from--those dangly things, right? Ain't I the handy girl?? I know the difference between a Allen wrench and a socket wrench. (Thanks, Dad!) I do have my own tools and know how to use them. Wanna borrow some?
Don't get me wrong; I can be as feminine as the next woman.
About my weight--I am comfortable in my own skin after many years of battling the bulge; Deciding to quit putting myself through the torture of dieting. I was thin at one time, after I lost a lot of pounds and was the most miserable time of my life (that's when ex-spouse lost interest in relations)--and the most ill with dropping too much weight. I've lost some while here in TX, so am maintaining it, & am well below 200. I do try and eat healthy stuff but at times the junk food fairy rears its head. I don't require 2 chairs--I fit nicely in one, don't need seat belt extensions in a car or a airplane, and they have plenty of slack when I am belted. As for exercise, I get enough while working. Plus, I haven't been sick since I moved here in Sept. 2005--that says a lot for Houston!
Of course I like a beer now and then--or maybe a drink with (insert favorite hard stuff here) In it. But I don't get stupid.
I work hard--about 50-70 hours a week, and am usually on the go on my days off, too. I'm NOT laid back, I charge at full speed--why waste time? There's too many things to see and do before I start pushing up daisies. "Laid back" to me is forever sprawled on a sofa, and "glass half-full" means never finishing a drink. Ugh. How boring. I do have my "down time" though, and spend it wisely.
I'm not looking to drain your bank account, I have my own to do it with, and I don't give a rip on how much or how little you make.
