Welcome to my corner……
Who ever thought that being a single person and a love for art can cross paths?
Well, glancing through the various profiles on this website seems like walking along a series of art portraits hanging on the white walls of a museum for modern art. Each photo comes with the bonus of learning superficial information about the piece itself, and our response to these artifacts is substantial motivated by a range of factors, few of which are really relevant to our decision of whether or not we do like the piece.
It is interesting to note that most of the singles have like a laundry list of what they are looking for, rather than providing a more global view about themselves. By extending the above-mentioned analogy of the art exhibition, most of us providing a list of the colors we would like to use on a canvas, but fail to provide the composition of the colors that would appeal to us.
Taking me for example, my motto in life is that my passion is ….passion! I have a hobby (I design yachts and ships…) which is partly why I attended college and learned Naval Architecture. Yet, I view my daily activities at the office as hobby not a job! As such I can go though a series of wonderful intellectually challenging events, getting tired at times, but always end up enjoying the process and not so much the end result.
I invite you to do the same. Read between the lines, and if you feel the urge to communicate to me (and with me….) your thoughts, you are warmly welcome. Let’s enjoy the process of getting to know each other, rather than the end result of friendship, lover, boy/girlfriend, wife or all of the above.
