I'm happy, relaxed, comfortable, and very straightforward. Kind-hearted and open, fun to be with, more than a little unconventional, very romantic, and a good listener -- I'm a survivor who is long past drama or baggage. I distance myself from anger or those who constantly argue...I'm more interested in being happy and peaceful than I am in proving myself right. My age is only a number, it certainly doesn't define who I am or how I feel and act.
I moved to AZ in 2008 and I'm very happy with my new life here – I love the sunshine and the mountains, the Valley culture and the laid back lifestyle. I've been here long enough to be acclimated and to enjoy doing all the normal AZ stuff. I hike, swim, do weekend getaways whenever possible, also enjoy movies, concerts, sporting events (esp. football and basketball).
My special joy is volunteering with abused and at-risk youth. I work out, have a healthy lifestyle, I'm studying Italian & I have a couple other unique hobbies you'll just have to ask about. I'm always reading something, enjoy good mysteries and well-written humor, and love a good conversation about most anything (because, as my kids say, my mind is a vast wasteland of useless information).
I hope to find a man who's self-confident and intelligent without being arrogant; honest and candid without being rude; has a great sense of humor and laughs often without demeaning others. Nice eyes, a beautiful smile, really knowing how to kiss...those wouldn't hurt either!
