I try to look for the positive things in life, and do my best to look around and beyond all the rest. (I try, but sometimes not as successfully, or as quickly, as I'd hope.) I am honest and trustworthy, shy, but open, and both strong and gentle.
I hope to find a man who is a "diamond in the rough;" a man who has a strong sense of his own worth, but who can also appreciate the worth and value of others; a man of vision who is both strong and gentle at the same time; a man who is intelligent and honest; and who has the courage to be humble and sincere, and yes, even sensitive, understanding, and forgiving when situations call for that, too. (I realize this a check list of sorts, but at least it covers what kind of person you are, and not your looks, money, or social standing. I believe who we are on the inside is what really counts. I also believe in second chances, too.)
“Perfection” is not what I seek, nor what I have to offer. (I have many of my own faults and I will do my best to be understanding and forgiving of yours.) Acceptance, trust (although cautiously), honesty, openness (again cautiously), communication, kindness, and genuineness are what I seek, and what I offer.
