I'm on this website just like all the rest of you - looking for love and companionship. But, along with that love and companionship we're also looking for respect, honesty and loyalty. They all go hand-in-hand and are attributes that we want our future husbands and wives to possess. I'm not any different from anyone else on this website. I've had some bad things happen to me in past relationships that have left scars. But, these bad things haven't turned me off to the possibility that there is a man out there somewhere that will be the love of my life. We've all loved and lost one way or another or we wouldn't be here looking. We're all human and we have the need in us to love and be loved, and that's what I want. I'm a very positive, down-to-earth person. I love rainy nights, thunderstorms with lots of lightning, and weekend getaways. I enjoy the beach and also the mountains. I like log houses, tree houses, porch swings, and all animals - especially cats. I have a great sense of humor, crazy at times. I sing and have sung with bands in Georgia and Texas. I sing in church at every opportunity. I like to read mystery, adventure and true crime books. I write, and have had articles published in Glamour magazine, local newspapers, and national business magazines. I like movies, in the theatre or on video at home. I'm adventurous, affectionate, spontaneous, and loving, but always a lady. I work in a very professional environment during the week and like to kick back and relax in my jeans and bare feet on weekends. I have a long list of things that interest me, but I would rather we make our own list from what we share from our likes and dislikes. I also like to travel, and would love to have that special man by my side to share all those beautiful places. After all, what is the point in looking at a beautiful sunrise or sunset when you don't have someone to share it with?
