How do you describe yourself without sounding egotistical?
I'm a shy computer geek who has a heart of gold. As far as a self evaluation, I think that about sums it up. *shrug*
Like most people, I'd rather laugh than cry, rather talk than argue, rather hug than shake hands, rather have money than be broke, rather have fun than be sad.
As for me as a person, I'm smart, funny, witty and sarcastic, yet can be silly and off the wall. I enjoy watching the Penguins, but usually only watch the playoffs. I really like watching Steelers games and try not to miss them, but it's ok if I do. Maybe one of these Monday Nights I'll make it through the entire game without falling asleep. 
I enjoy singing and karaoke... but the 'talent level' is debatable.  I won't be on Idol any time soon.
I also enjoy working on the duplex, making repairs and improvements, because I know I'm investing in the financial future.
Ultimately, if I had to try to pinpoint what I am looking for, I'd have to say that I'm looking for a woman who is: smart and knows she's smart, confident but not arrogant, independent but likes spending time together too, loves to laugh (including laughing at yourself), is easy-going and open-minded towards everything in life and, well, to be honest, a woman who is just as happy cuddling up on the couch and spending an evening talking or watching a movie as she is going out to a restaurant.
But let's be honest: you can't sum up your life's existence in a few paragraphs, can you? Maybe if you were eight months old.
