Being the upfront and HONEST woman that I am I will tell you a little story. A few years back I met someone and we formed a relationship. It didn't work out and then I found out that I had herpes. Everything he said led me to believe that he knew he had it but passed it to me anyway. I'm telling you this upfront because I've gotten tired of getting to know someone and when I "reveal" they are gone with the wind. The way I look at this is that it does NOT define who I am. No, it is not life threatening, is managable with meds and when the proper precautions are taken. One in four people have this so be careful out there. Do the research! Not everyone is as honest about this as I am and not everyone will tell you the truth...even when asked. Feel free to read my blog "Honesty is always the best policy." You'll find it in my discussions. Now...if you are unable to deal with this then please don't bother reading any further. If you still have an interest then please read on.
I suppose the best way to describe myself would be intelligent, sincere, passionate, spontaneous, secure and happy with who I am, having a great sense of humor and very earthy, (love the outdoors). I'm 5' 3 1/2" and weigh 130 lbs.. I"m guessing that would be considered "average." I'm not into negativity but if you are..have a nice life. I have no tolerance for someone who yells, screams, fusses or fights. If you can't "agree to disagree" then you'd have no place in my life. I've been a widow for 10 yrs.. I have my memories but don't live in the past. I've heard people say that they want to find someone to "complete" them but I AM complete. I don't NEED a man in my life, I choose to INCLUDE a man INTO my life to experience whatever lies ahead for us. If you're not looking for a long term relationship please pass me by. I won't rush you OR myself but this is what I'm hoping to find. No flings or one night stands for me. If I were to be asked what I enjoy doing the most it would be camping and fishing.(yeah...really!!!!!) I also enjoy music, photography, flea markets and gardening . I can be a tomboy or girly girl, depending upon the situation. I still like having my door opened for me, helped on with my coat, etc., etc. but at the same time I'm very earthy. I haven't danced in quite some time but I'm actually very good at it. I love playgrounds. (brings out my inner child)
I'm all about communication, compromise and consideration. If you know how to communicate, be considerate and know how to compromise in a relationship then that's a plus.
I'd like to meet a man that doesn't have to FIND time for me in his life, rather he is wanting to MAKE time for me.. Someone that has similar interests to mine. I'm not materialistic so don't tell me what you've got..tell me who you are.
If you're a couch potato, feel free to pass me by. I'm not an "activity freak" but I do like to "get out and do." I enjoy my down time but there's a lot of life to live away from a computer screen.
