Women are always saying how much they're looking for a decent, educated, bright, financially stable, un-married, non-alcoholic guy with no (or little) Baggage, and who bathes on a regular basis.
Well...here I am!
My passions in life include jazz music, photography, travel, and baseball. I like to think of myself as an old school, big city kind of guy who knows his way around, works hard for his money but plays hard too. I enjoy riding my bike around town, watching old movies and old TV shows, roller coasters, and a good chili dog...and I think vinyl records sound better than CDs. I also like a little old fasioned romance (how about an evening of candlelight and Sinatra?).
I'm not rich...but financially stable. I have no kids, no stalking ex-wives, I don't live with my parents, I'm not on parole, and I'm not in recovery! That constitutes a pretty decent guy...right?
My friends all say that I'm the most practical, even-keeled, level-headed, reality-driven person they know...a very East Coast kind of guy. They also consider me one of their most loyal friends...I value friendships above all things. Oh...and I have a favorite island getaway...Manhattan!
Things I'm NOT into include radical politics, wierd movies, or strange art. So if you're someone who thinks Bush blew up the Twin Towers, thinks a blue circle on a white canvas equals great art, and people on a stage screaming uncontrollably constitutes great theater...I'm probably not the guy for you.
Don't get me wrong...I'm not some un-cultured, beer drinking Fred Flinstone type. My definition of great art is something I couldn't have done. Something like a DaVinci, Chagall, or Van Gogh. Any knucklehead can paint a blue circle on a white canvas.
But...I digress.
The woman I would like to meet is someone hasn't forgotten how to have a good time. Someone who likes good music, doesn't disdain sports, and enjoys getting out of the house and experiencing all that the city has to offer. Someone who's smart but funny, witty and clever. Someone who's up for spending a sunny Saturday afternoon biking around town or in the hills, and maybe that evening relaxing and digging some of the wonderful sounds at a good jazz or blues club.
Oh...and race and age are not important...but a positive attitude is!
