ABOUT ME:
These descriptions of myself might suffice: Not too withdrawn, not too outgoing (mid-way or “easy-going”, one would say); values deep understanding of people and matters, personal maturity, refinement and self-mastery; inquiring and investigative, and, loves well-calibrated merriment - creative experimentation in controlled eating, drinking and leisure in general. Rather in love with trying what's untried (yes, what I think “untried”). Not always predictable – I am not suggesting a mischievous streak— loves being abreast of events, and believes in responsible diversion and recreation.
Hobbies: Music— Classical, jazz, Indian, gospel; computer games; African soap operas, movies— Indian and African... advocates creative culinary experimentations...
Dislikes: Bias and prejudice; shallow thinking and judgement by appearances; incuriosity ( i.e. little or no desire to know what is happening or to appreciate everyday facts and realities beyond the surface );rigidity in thought and approach. From these, there is the implication of a dislike for self-satisfaction, filth, slovenly habits, indecent dressing, coarse behaviour, insensitivity, etc— dislike for what suggests superficiality in thinking and a lack of consideration for the human and physical environment.

I wouldn’t sing my praises or accentuate my shortcomings, though I have two interests to share. One: delightful appreciation of life above appearances, beyond tradition and religion – broad-mindedness and flexibility in thinking. Two: intimacy with a woman who tends towards my open-minded and flexible attitude to life; is compatible with my hobbies: needn’t be especially beautiful in facial and formal appearance; has some formal education, a cheerful disposition and personal receptiveness – she wouldn’t hide facts or feelings except for reasons of practical and real consideration for the other…. Wouldn’t an intimate association with her uplift our lives to better heights in every meaningful respect?
A brief elaboration will be useful here: By “broad and open-mindedness”, I am suggesting that she is able to enter quite objectively into diverse opinions on peoples and things, on personal or non-personal issues- despite her religious, personal or cultural beliefs; in spite of her inclinations of the moment. This means little or no rigid clinging to preconceptions about people and matters— a willingness to examine issues on their merit and to acknowledge facts about them with a rational sense of logic and propriety.
Such qualities guarantee dynamism in thinking; they guarantee a no-nonsense attitude to life, and a movement away from the unrealistic, exaggerated feelings of romantic love that often "blinds" the female sex— those mysterious sentiments that renders her "heart" liable to "breaking" under the well-known blows and “jilts” of typical love affairs.
Besides, the transience of this earth and the vanity of human desires will soon lose their sad hold on the embodiment of these attributes. For, in the true appreciation of life beyond appearances lies the promise of deep personal fulfillment, ultimate self-realisation, and what can really be described as “unquantifiable inner bliss”…
I am not philosopher; not an evangelist of some kind—not an idealist or a religious fanatic…a mere human desiring to be better!
The intimate association I desire with that woman is not destined for marriage. I am single, but I do NOT look forward to entering into a marriage. I will be content with a serious intimate relationship.
