Personality |
There certainly is nothing like humor, and that is definitely the number one attribute to my personality. My name is Jeff and I am a native born Texan from the Big "D", Dallas. I love the country, outdoors, horses, ranches, farms and anything southern related. But, I also love the big city. I know, that is quite a paradigm! I had the greatest opportunity to go to grad school in downtown Chicago in my twenties and have spent the last 10 years working for a Fortune 500 technology firm. I actually started as a security guard if you can believe that, and today I am the VP of sales and operations for a branch in Milwaukee. I also teach International Marketing for Keller Graduate School. I have to say and I imagine you are gathering that, the balance of life is a struggle. Although, it should be a priority especially with loved ones in your life. I learned the hard way not to over complicate my life. I have six year old boy/girl twins that make me want to get up in the morning (sometimes not by choice) And put "spring in my step" to face the everday challenges of business life. It's funny, you think you are teaching your children; But, I think they are teaching us everyday. I have learned that, life is not all about money, working out everday, or owning fancy things. Well, as much as I love all three of those, I guess also playing on the floor is just as much fun. Oh, and I also learned that dried week old hidden macaroni and cheese does actually clean up with little scrubbing...LOL! I believe strongly in family, family values, and teaching your children to be good, honest, and trusting people. I believe that being a Dad is a gift, not a choice. This is not my first experience in the virtual online dating world. I honestly have to say that I am saddened by the scores of people I have spoken to whom have non-existent fathers in their childrens' lives. I chose the path that my parents gave to me. Hence, that is why my children are my world and my future. If you were to speak to my friends who live in Texas or Chicago, they would tell you that I am funny, caring, "smarty pants" sometimes (but never an egotist), and a total Aquarian. What do I think? Well, I would date me. But, I don't think I would get along with myself. Too many similarities... . Enjoy the journey, laugh a lot, and remember to hug your kids, friends, and smile. That is what life is all about!
