A lifelong Alaskan, I am a poet and a sawyer in order to feed my spirit, and a union stagehand for a career; however, I feel lucky in that I love my job.
I deeply adore living in Alaska, enjoying the dark solitude of winter, (most of the time ) and the stunning glory of our summers. Of course, being Alaskan also means that I am very often struck by wanderlust, and must travel out of the state to soothe it.
I live in a small valley in Anchorage with my best Four Leg friend, he's a 7 yr old Husky named Wingnut, and he is the sweet apple of my eye.
I am seeking an intelligent, creative woman; someone who values their independence and is comfortable asserting it. Yet, someone who desires a truly intimate, honest relationship with a man who is unafraid of a real woman. Perhaps even with a bit fun and adventure thrown in. Finally, I am hoping to meet someone who agrees that love, lust, indeed even friendship, begins and thrives in the meeting of minds.
As I mentioned, poetry and music are profoundly important to me, especially classic jazz. Recently, with my best Two Leg friend and Drummer, I formed a poetry/jazz band, and this has been an endless source of fun, friendship and satisfaction. In addition to spoken word, I also play the musical saw.
