I love life and try to make the most of my time. I've found work I love (fun and reasonably sophisticated machines). I'm a hands on guy. Most of my working life I have worked with mechanical things (diesel engine rebuilder, foreign car repair, plumber, water wellman, flow lab technician, I’ve worked for 2 engineering departments in high tech, you get the picture). I've done other work but drifted back to mechanical/technical. The best part of working with machines is working with the people associated with them. I like people. I play well with the other kids.
I love to travel and absolutely make time for travel. I've spent time in: France, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, Ireland, Israel, Egypt, Turks and Caicos, Extensively in Mexico and the Caribbean. I also love to spend time in Florida and especially Hawaii. I particularly love beaches and blue clear water. I like to snorkel and scuba dive but whatever gets me to the beach is good. Busy time at home for me is usually working on home projects which will never end. Allowing them to end would necessitate moving to a new old house (my home is pre-civil war). While I was at one time a dedicated father now that my son is significantly bigger than me and on his own I'm mostly only responsible to Charlie (my Great Pyrenees puppy). He's demanding and quite spoiled and has a cat named Hailey. I'm very happy to not be fixing cars for a living at this point but do enjoy maintaining my cars.
I'd like to meet a bright woman who appreciates a healthy diet of humor and a healthy diet as well. A love of water would be good. Chemistry is important to me, a little tough to quantify.
I'm a little limited in what I eat. I eat sushi pretty much on a daily basis (I roll my own) And grill fish pretty much every day as well. I have no problem with others eating meat but I don't. I’m quite fit and take being healthy seriously and appreciate those who also work to be healthy.
