I was told I needed to change my essay, so here I go. I just turned 55 years young, because I am not old! I think I am way to active for my own good, but on the other hand, I am way to laid back. I used to go out to clubs and bars every weekend, but in the last few years I have started only going once or twice a month and that is usually only when someone twists my arm to go. I have many interests, but my largest interest is motorcycles, yes, Harley's. During the summer I am out with friends riding every weekend. During the winter the snow has to be melted before I will go out on the bike. (I'm really not that hard core)
I have been in the same profession for about 22 or 23 years, I lost count. You may certainly ask what it is I do, but I would rather not post it here.
I would like for you to be pleasant to my eyes, outgoing, shy is ok, but don't get stuck in that mode. I have been single for many years and I know I am kind of stuck in my ways. You should not feel uncomfortable telling me when one of my little quirks bother you, I am really easy to get along with. I do not want to be tied at the hip 24/7. I have a life and I would hope you do also. As time progresses, time will tell us how much time we both want to spend together. I have learned that in the beginning of a relationship, people tend to spend all their free time together, but as time passes and we get more comfortable with each other, we do need some time apart.
I have a lot of great friends who I spend time with. I do not expect you to like all my friends, but at the very least, try to tolerate them once in awhile. I will do the same with your friends also.
Alrighty then, I have been rambling on for sometime now. Of course it hasn't taken you near as long to read this as it took me to write it. One more thing before I complete this, if you live over 50 or 100 miles away, don't waste our time. I am one of those who doesn't think long distance relationships work. I am greedy ok, if I can't see and touch often, it isn't good for me. Also, if your living overseas, just plain forget it, I'm not going to pay your way here and marry you and live happily ever after.
