Hi there, and thanks for checking out my profile! Now, for a little bit about me:
Born in NJ, moved to Maine when I was 10. Divorced mother of 2 children, whom I share 50/50 with their father. We divorced amicably, as the children are our #1 priority. However, mom needs to be happy too, right? So here I am, just letting things take their course and see what happens. You must never pass up taking a chance to make your life happy and fulfilling, life is just way too short!
I love the outdoors, the ocean, sailing, fishing, horseback riding, beaches, starry nights, sunrises and sunsets...I am a romantic at heart, and very easy-going. I have learned many things throughout the years, first and foremost that it is the little, thoughtful things that make me happy, not elaborate, materialistic things. I am looking for that special someone to spend the second part of my life with, my best friend. If you are looking for a fling, please look elsewhere. Also, please note: I am REAL. If you are a fake, or are someone hiding behind a made-up profile, you need not apply. I try to take everything for face value, but hey, there's always some joker out there that tries to ruin it for everyone, so don't be that one! :o)
That said, I love to laugh, have been told I have a great personality and am easy to talk to. Communication is essential to a good relationship, and I am the type that is not shy to share my thoughts. I write poetry in my spare time. I am a creative, industrious individual and am very self-sufficient. I don't need a man to change my oil, help around the house, remodel, run power tools...I can do all that. I don't need anyone for that, however I desire to SHARE all of those things with that special someone.....and strive toward our future goals together...
