First thing....
Angie is an abbreviation of my middle name. It is not a fake name but a nickname to use on this site.
Hope that is not confusing.... 
Now, who am I? Such a large question for a small space. 
My interest starts at reading books and extends to watching old movies. They are varied and diverse. I think I could be called adventuresome but rather tame in the real sense of the word. I like exploring new things, do you?
I would be interested in meeting someone with kindness in their heart, honesty, no matter how difficult, from their mouth, who have sincere love for God in their heart and soul, and they know how to laugh, especially at themselves!
My favorite music is a toss up between Gospel and Old School R&B! But I also love salsa, jazz, reggae, old rock & roll like Journey and Motown.
My favorite foods are anything but pork, seafood and liver! I am open to the fish family but not catfish!
My favorite movies are black and white classics, old cowboy movies with Eastwood in them, intelligent thrillers, romance  and I think sarcastic comedy is just the funniest thing! 
I guess we can hold a conversation to learn more about one another. I believe a large portion of us are on here to meet someone who we have an image of in our hearts...we just haven't met them. Let's see if we can be friends.  That is key in any relationship, especially serious ones.
I identify with African-American but I am multi-racial with Irish, African, and Native American. I am 3rd and 4th generation with all of these. My maternal grandmother was Bahamian which makes 3rd there too! My paternal grandfather was African and Native American! I am all of this but this is just conversation...aren't all of us something else besides what we put on applications?
At this time I am kind of focused on finishing school, being active at school, going to work and then my involvement at church! Whew! A sister is busy but I think I have room for a good friend. Someone to kick it with at a nice Jazz Club or go get some good Texas barbecue...or ride up to Austin for the day and sightseeing! Fun with no pressures or expectations except for having fun!
BTW: I am a true Lady in a time when women have lost the desire to be such. I have sincere appreciation for a man who appreciates that about me and respects it.
