Hi, I'm kinda new to this whole thing. My name is Jay. I'd like to make some new friends but I'm not gonna lie, I'm tired of being alone and dealing with people's b.s. My ultimate goal is to find someone I could be happy with and finally settle down. While I have no intent or desire to rush anything, I don't think planning how a relationship will be is the way to go. Whatever happens, happens.
So on to me...I'm currently a graphic designer and a guidance counselor for a youth center in North Philly.. I've been doing it for the past 6 years. I love it but truthfully, I don't see my doing it forever. Though, many people hate this about me, I have always wanted to join the police force. So that's what I've done. I begin the academy in 4 weeks and I can't wait. It's where my heart is. Life is too short not to live it the way you want to live it and not the way others think you should live it. So I'm going for it. Wish me luck.
Of course there's a lot more to me than my career. Well, I could say what I’m sure everyone else says. Like I'm am cool, funny, kind, courteous…blah blah blah. While those are true about me, I normally wouldn’t describe myself that way. Conformity isn’t really my thing. I like to be different. I love what I do. I’m happy with my life for the first time in what seems like an eternity. But work isn’t everything. Which is why I’m here (see…this is going somewhere after all). I have a lot of love to give and a lot of life to live. Now I want someone to live it with. There’s no perfect woman for me…I’m not gonna write a list of attributes I want in a woman. It’s simple…all I ask is that you’re a good person with some direction in you’re life. Hopefully that’s not asking too much. Because if it is, I’ll be alone for a very long time.
