Let's start with the nots. Not controlling. Not jealous. Not shy. Not narrow-minded. Not stupid. Not negative. Not negative....that sounds funny. Not confrontational but not a coward either. Not boring but not a clown.
As for the "I ams": Cheerful. Caring. Respectful. A great parent, at least I think so and I think my kids would agree. A fantastic cook. Very social. Adventurous. Spontaneous. Optomistic. Sometimes a little goofy.
The "I likes": I like most anything at any time with the right company. Indoors, outdoors, whatever. I especially enjoy fishing, camping, boating, dancing, fine dining, surprises, taking my kids to the drive-in, the beach, ice skating in Portland and road trips. Fine dining is good, taking a cab home from a party once every one to two years is ok too.
What I am looking for? Wish I knew! Actually, I do have a short list, so here it is. I would like to meet somebody who likes to smile and enjoy the moment. Someone who is as committed to the total absence of drama as I am. Drop dead gorgeous would not be a bad thing either.
My kids are ages 8, 13 and 13, all girls (yes, twins). One of my daughters has requested that you have cute boys! So, please don't! haha
It's hard to say what type of relationship I am looking for, LTR FWB, etc. I guess it depends on the person. I have dated once or twice recently and found that what I was looking for in those cases was the fastest way to the closest exit! But I have not given up hope. In fact, I think I haveI finally figured it out; Most women in my age group are divorced like me... Now, most divorced people are divorced for a reason; Either their spouse was a nutball, they are themselves a nutball, or both are nutballs. So that means that only about one in 4 singles is sane and emotionally stable .... Statistically speaking. Now I have only been on two dates so I figure I just have to get through one more nutball before I meet Ms. Right.... I am encouraged!
