I live on the west side of Houston, and I work in the oil & gas industry. I was born in West Virginia, in 1955, but I have been in Houston since 1978.
One of the things I really enjoy doing is going out to see live musicians do their thing. Mostly I am into blues and bluesy rock, and singer songwriters of all flavors.
There is almost always music in my house. When I am hanging around the house, I am usually always cooking. I have been Vegan for the last 4 or 5 years, so my repertoire has changed a bit. I get a real kick out of feeding my friends.
Oh yeah, I love dogs. I have just adopted a new buddy, Merlin. He's my second Huskie from CAPS. I've had rescue dogs all my life.
To put myself in a nutshell, I would say that I'm a hard worker, deadpan honest, and a good neighbor. I try to live by The Golden Rule. I hold myself to very high moral standards, and I want to surround myself with others who have the same set of ideals.
I hope to meet someone who enjoys the same kinds of things that I enjoy. Maybe live music on Saturday afternoon, or an excursion to that newly discovered antique shop.
