I am a single mom, divorced almost two years now. I love spending time with my kids, but every now and then would like to have some adult conversation. I am going to school full time, work part time, and have little time for anything else. I'm not looking to hook up. I am looking for new friends.
I am a compassionate, caring, sensitive person. I try to help others out as much as I can. I am a firm believer in "Do unto others". I also believe in " what goes around comes around". The way you treat other people will reflect back to you, at some time in your life. I try to raise my kids with as many morals as you can get these days, and then a little more. Let's face it, this world can be pretty grim at times. I take comfort in the fact that someday we will all be changed " in the twinkling of an eye". I'm not preaching, I promise. I do have a firm belief in God, and I'm trying harder lately to live a better life. I am not the type to judge other people. I have no right.
I haven't put much emphasis on dating since my divorce because I am focusing on being the best mom I can be. They grow up so fast. I don't want to miss a thing! My kids are my number one priority. No one will ever come between me and my kids. I haven't had much luck with blending relationships and my kids. I made the mistake once of getting involved with someone that didn't get along with my kid. Every day was a struggle for all of us. I won't do that again. If you don't like kids, especially someone else's, don't bother contacting me. I love kids, and could handle having more, so it's not a problem for me to get involved with someone who has kids.
I am looking for someone that has a sense of humor, AND can laugh at themselves when need be. Light hearted is good; generous, caring, compassionate, physically fit, understanding, unique, not lazy, open minded, capable of monotony, trusting, honest, family oriented, believes in God.
