In order to receive what we desire in life, we have to be willing to receive it when it appears. In order to do that we must be open. Often we live life with defenses we developed early on to protect ourselves. These defenses may serve to shut out desired influences, like intimacy and love. So an essential part of being receptive is to soften barriers enough to let desires in when they show up. Often, the things and people we want to draw in our lives elude us because we are unconsciously blocking them. Either with defenses,barriers, or with tunnel vision that causes us to not see our desires when they appear. When this is the case, we can take action by exploring and expanding our vision to encompass new possibilities. this action may very well be the missing essential essence to receptive, positive seeking.
Another obstacle to our receptivity may be a tendency to believe that we have to act aggressively to achieve our desired goal. This may cause us to become mono-focused, failing to see, and be open to opportunities outside our expectation and vision. Becoming receptive involves a willingness to see and explore possibilities outside our immediate realm of vision. If we are looking for friendship, love, relatinship or a companion, it means first looking within ourselves to see where we really are,and second, not getting too fixated on where we might find the love we want. In this way, we become more open as humans, individuals, and more expansive in terms of what we see as possible and those possibilities become limitless instead of limited.
now as for me, after careful consideration and going deep within...............I enjoy changing seasons.... spring, fall, wintersnowswithafireplacetokeepcuddle, summer sun and lots of outdoor nature to fun and run. I enjoy tea, literature, ARTS, conversation, mind meetings, occasional surprises, and spontaneous moments.
