Here is the rest of my profile: I am retired from working for 27 years in banking, raising my 4 sons and now it is hopefully my turn... I returned to a university (sac state) and finished my bachelors in accountancy degree. So now I am back in the real world working again.
I have realized that after many years of being divorced, taking care of my sons, and careers that my life is not as balanced as I would like it to be. My own sons and friends have suggested that I work on expanding my personal life. As they say, "anyone can hide in the small success we have and then we forget how lonely it can be". So the decision is to get back out there.... anyone else know what that feels like.. not fun is it????
Oh well, here it goes.... I have a soft spot in my heart for men in suits, but I also like someone that prefers getting comfortable. I am not the camping, hiking, or sleep in the dirt kind of woman.... I do like the nice hotel in the city, or a great bed and breakfast in the country. I enjoy a movie, but don't care about going to the movies for a first date because I can't get to know someone if we can’t talk. I love music, but I can't sing, nor does anyone want to hear me sing. I love to dance, but mostly slow dance. I love to swim, makes me feel great, and feeling great is what it is all about. I really enjoy a good story especially if it is true. I guess I am a fan of non-fiction.
I am not complicated at all, actually I consider myself very normal, but I don't appreciate excuses or lack of intent because I have never been afforded that luxury. I will not lie, as a matter of fact I have meet some great and successful men in my life, and I will always be their friend, but I need someone to look in my eyes and treasure me, and I am willing to wait for that moment. Compromising with that is not something I am willing do. I am a Taurus so I am picky with my love life. I won’t play games, or lead someone on because I don't appreciate when someone does that to me...
