Hard to believe I've lived to this age without partnering-up and enjoying the benefits of long-term monogamy. Where did the time go??!!!! I always thought that there would be another opportunity.
On other hand, I'm pleased that I've lived alone for so long. -Unlike some who have not learned how to. However, I am now finding that I desire (profoundly) A lover/friend/partner to fill certain gaps in the picture. -Someone else for whom to live. -Someone strong in areas of life in which I am weak. -Someone with whom to have fun at home. Someone with whom to go camping, for Pete's sake!!! (Wow. What a concept!)
I'm, educated and interested in things. -History, Anthropology, Art, Science…I love animals. I'm a former hippie/starving artist. I like to say that I took an early retirement. -Eighteen to forty-four! I'm 6'1, 215 lb., and not at all hard to look at.
My ideal relationship is characterized by monogamy, profound love (profound love: That would mean, among other things, being really nice to each other, wouldn't it?), romance (or good lovin'), and deep, enlightened conversation. I'm not asking for much, am I?!!
