I have opened a new chapter in my life and I am starting to enjoy things more. At 5’11” and 195 lbs.(depending on the time of year), I am not athletic by any means. That is not to say that I am a couch potato either as I do so enjoy being active; hunting, fishing, bowling, boating, gardening, camping and woodworking to just list a few.
Passive by nature I prefer to talk or discuss over yelling and fighting and I truly believe that compromise can always be found somewhere. Somewhat shy at first as I become more comfortable with you I will loosen up.
I do have a good sense of humor and although I don’t tell them very well I enjoy all kinds of jokes. I can be sarcastic at times and certainly can take what I dish out!
Although I am no “Tool Time Tim”, I enjoy building and repairing things. I like knowing how things work and adapting or customizing to suit my needs or improving them.
And to answer the question that I know all you women want to know; yes I do put the seat back down when I am done!
Taking the opportunity to live out the cliché “if I only knew then what I do know now”! I have been learning to take life and its obstacles as a challenge to better my future and myself. I enjoy stopping to smell the roses so to speak and have realized that life really is too short to sweat the small stuff!
Currently a lot of my free time is being spent hosting/assisting in the day to day operations at a local campground and resort. I have found that this is something that I would really like to consider doing full time in a few years.
