Only the incurable romantics need to respond. I believe in the "old fashion values", where preventive maintenance take precedence over corrective measures. A smile, a little touch, a card or flowers when least expected, can never be measured by words, and speaks volumes. Apologizes in today's world are the norm, but traveling on planes and staying in hotels on business many weeks of the year, have led me to believe that the two words, "I apologize" are the most mis-used words in the English language.
