Although I am 43, many people say that I look much younger--in my late twenties or early thirties. Perhaps because I am a fairly happy person and love to laugh. After all, life is way too short not to enjoy it--it's all about how one feels on the inside and your attitude/energy that you project. Being honest and respectful to all those I meet and know is very important to me; It's far better to "make love, not war." And, as Shakespeare wrote, "To thine own self be true."
I am looking for a woman, who like myself, is fairly secure with herself, has a good sense of humor and likes to laugh, is very passionate, romantic and uninhibited; And who does not need a man in her life to make her complete. Hopefully, she wants to share her life with that special person to augment her happiness but her happiness and sense of self should not be dependent upon finding that special man.
I have a Bachelor's degree with a double-major in Political Science and Philosophy and studied Pre-law at UCCS. Currently, I am working with developmentally disabled adults as a facilitator to assist in enriching their lives. Although I live comfortably, I do not work in this field because of the money. I do it because I like helping people and I decided long ago to only work in areas that I enjoy--otherwise, what's the point. I have had several jobs that paid well but life is much more than about money and the things one acquires. It's about the relationships one fosters with others and learning to grow as a person that is important.
Hopefully, I may find that special lady and things will blossom into a long, passionate and caring relationship. If not, at least I have found a new friend. My ideal date is one where my special lady and I are walking hand in hand on a beautiful beach where the sun is beginning to set and the warm water is tickling our bare feet. We have a nice bottle of red wine to share, after previously sharing a romantic candlelit dinner, and we often stop and stare into each other's eyes and share passionate kisses. The rest of the evening and romantic nights and days, I will leave to your imagination.
