Don't let the uniform fool you. A majority of individuals (including myself) consider it to have been an honor and a privilege to have served this great county. If we are willing to put our lives on the line for a country and people WE don't even know... then YOU can just imagine how intimate and personal our relationships are with our families and the one's close to us who we love even more. Us types are not war mongers. I just believe if it is worth having... it's worth fighting for.
I am "Blessed" in so many ways and I don‘t need to wait till Thanksgiving to be thankful. Everyday is Thanksgiving! Blessed with a good family, good health, good life & opportunities, and countless other blessings.

I have a very soft heart for animals. I like to feel needed and animals depend on us to take care of them and they love us and return their "natural" affection no matter what we look like, where we work, how much we earn, or what our past was. Today is what counts because tomorrow is promised to no man.
I have compassion for people. I believe all people have good points and it's just a matter of bringing it out of them. (Hebrews 13:2 - Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it). YOU may even be my angel!
I've traveled to numerous states and many countries and I still enjoy traveling, especially to historical locations. I enjoy anywhere on the water-front, the snowy mountains, the flat plains of the Midwest, and all the places in between. They say if you’ve seen one place… you’ve seen them all. I have to disagree because the world has it’s own personality just like each and everyone of us do. It's all beautiful and we just have to go out and extract the beauty.
My current and primary hobby is genealogy in which I travel within the state and do a lot of research and photography. It's really fun and I think you would find it very educational and entertaining.
I’m not a TV ‘tater or much of a movie buff. I’d rather travel somewhere or read a book and let my own mind do the special effects or write the script. It leaves so much excitement and entertainment to the imagination. You can always go rent the darn movie on some cold snowy night and cuddle up with some cocoa and popcorn with the one you love and then let your own imagination and desires run wild. (who wants to watch a re-run of an intimate or spontaneous romantic loving moment on CD or TV when you can write, direct, and star in your own?)
I consider myself friendly but quiet. I feel that I am humble, reasonable, and modest, and can admit when I am wrong. I can be by myself or be completely content with the person I'm connected with and the two of US just be alone to share thoughts and emotions.
I'm old fashioned in manners and etiquette but open to new ideas. I see nothing sexist or degrading to the woman's lib types by opening their door or treating them with courtesy as they deserve. I won’t apologize for the way I was raised or the values set by example. All the mistakes I have made since my adolescence were made by my own doing and choice. No one to blame but me.
I am looking for A WOMAN who knows her femininity and puts political correctness aside. I know how to treat HER as an equal and I don't need an act of congress to tell me how to do that!
