Hello, and thanks for taking the time to view my profile
I am very intelligent, independent, easy going, in a good mood most of the time (most likely you'll find me smiling), very active, full of energy, a great sense of humor and have many interests in different areas that have little to do with one another. I don’t look or act my age either.
I enjoy camping, going to the beach, swimming, snorkeling, flea markets, garage sales, boating, fishing, cruises, cooking, shopping, museums, antiquing, hiking, taking long drives to places I have not been (exploring) or just getting plain lost (you always come out somewhere), traveling, a good movie, the challenge of fixing things I know nothing about, I am also a history buff and enjoy learning about new things. I would add computers but that’s what I do for living and have been for 30 years.
I am into all kinds of music from classical to hard rock, lately I’ve been listening to soft jazz. The only type of music I dislike is Rap.
I used to be a Chef many years ago, so I know my way around the kitchen. I love animals and have 4 cats which I miss dearly because they are in CT. I am extremely easy to talk to and can carry a conversation in almost any subject except sports (not into sports).
I treat everyone with respect and kindness. I can get along with almost anyone. I enjoy just about any activity as long as the company is good.
I am an agnostic; do not follow organized religion because they are all man made and full of inaccuracies as far as history is concerned. I do believe there is a creator because no way did everything come to be naturally (It’s to complex).
I am new to the dating seen since wife of 23 years passed away last winter and I am still sort of recovering from it because I loved her dearly even though the last few years were difficult. Its tough being alone after having somebody around for that long; therefore, It's time for me to move forward with life (not getting any younger) and find someone I can enjoy spending it with.
The person I am looking for should be somewhat intelligent, have a good sense of humor, be trustworthy, easy on the eyes and the chemistry between us has to be there. Right now I'm just looking, but wouldn't mind meeting that someone special, friends at first then who knows.
