First, I don't know what possessed me to actually do this. My life is not that bad, just gets lonely sometimes. The kids are grown and now I want to take some time to get to know myself a little better. Part of this process has been discovering that I would like to share my life with someone special. I am independent and know that I can make it on my own, but I also know that it is so much better with someone by my side. I enjoy sports, reading, rain on tin roofs, and all the other peaceful things in life. I am currently teaching high school but hope to retire before very long. Oh, I am retired from the US Army after 22 years of service  I really love my country.
