I am a counselor who works with troubled teens. I am also a public speaker who offers seminars on everything from good communication skills & conflict resolution to re-inventing your life and how to be happy, peaceful, & serene. I live what I teach. I have my own business, a private practice, so I keep my own hours. I am an entrepreneur and I am very motivated and goal oriented. I am excited about the series of books that I am writing that go along with the healthy relationship and life skills seminars that I offer to the public.
I grew up in Michigan so I have the Midwestern morals and work ethic. My friends would describe me as being empathetic, compassionate, nurturing, and passionate about my counseling career and animal rescue volunteer work (I do fundraisers for vet bills and try to find land to use, have donated, or buy to create an animal sanctuary/hospice. Any ideas?). I am well educated and well traveled (Europe, Asia, Africa, South America. I even lived abroad.) I am intelligent, interesting, articulate, funny, positive, dynamic, motivated, goal oriented and humble (no, really!). My enthusiasm and joy for living is contagious. I also believe that it is my job to make the world a better place so community service is important to me. For example, I volunteered to help Hurricane Katrina victims in Phoenix by doing grief counseling and by helping them to re-unite with lost pets that were left behind in the flood.
I am single. No children. Never been married. I had a pleasing 13 year relationship & we parted amicably because we just wanted different things.
