Last of the Good Guys ISO Attractive, Intelligent, Witty Female
Honest, caring, single male, from Macon, Georgia, 5'9", 200 lbs, with light brown hair; usually a good judge of character, (but not always)! Currently a federal employee with the Dept of Defense. I’m looking for a friend first & foremost, and whatever may follow second.
I enjoy dining out, going to a movie, (often even 'click flicks),' or a play, as well as watching a good DVD at home, with popcorn in one hand and glass of fine wine in the other.
I'm caring & sensitive, (for the most part), but also cautious at times. A good listener most of the time...I'll generally hear someone out until my 'B/S detector alarm' goes off; then I run like hell to preserve my sanity.
Exercise for me consists mainly of walking, hiking, swimming, or doing yard work. I like people who value health & fitness, without overdoing it.... to the exclusion of all else.
My political beliefs border on being moderately conservative, but I have been known to have serious lapses in judgment when I've voted for a DEMOCRAT, (almost always "repenting" later)
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: I like flying, I’m a licensed Private Pilot, but because of the extreme expense involved in flying today, haven't piloted a plane in several years.... However, I still stop whatever I'm doing to look skyward when a plane, (military or civilian) flies overhead.... to ponder past adventures in the "wild blue."
I’m also a certified advanced (open water) SCUBA diver. I like travel, (national & international); and love animals (most of ‘em anyway). Favorite pastime is to lay in bed on a cold rainy Sat. morning & read a good book (favorite authors are Nelson Demille, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, & Kathy Riechs), or watch a good movie.
DISLIKES: I detest those who would harm a defenseless animal or person, physically, psychologically or emotionally. My pet peeve, (no pun intended), are politicians who are so mired down in weighing the political consequences that they can’t, or won’t, make the tough decisions today’s issues demand.
IDEAL MATCH: Someone, who, despite meeting a number of “jerks & wimps” in her search for "Mr. Right," isn't afraid to take one more risk, in her pursuit of that someone she can trust & have fun with.
SPECIFICALLY: An attractive, caring & intelligent, yet humble & loyal, non-smoker, w/ no 'priors' for bankrupting, murdering, castrating, or otherwise disfiguring a former spouse, boyfriend, or "significant other," no matter how much he may have richly DESERVED it!
